  1. Oh I want to sign up & I hesitate cause Ive taken many challenges before & I don’t follow the steps or new habits. I am stuck in resignation as I nibble on watermelon & unlimited peanut butter filled pretzels. I just stopped & closed the bag- Maybe. I already love the two gals I know who said yes.

  2. This sounds wonderful, Karen! As you know, I am all about lifestyle choices as a path to true lasting health. It can also be fun to do it in a group, as we do learn so much from other people and their experiences in what works and what doesn’t for them. Ultimately we are all unique, so finding what works for us, is the key.

      Yes, finding what works for us is the key. Trying new things, taking one or two things and making them your own. I love doing things in groups, motivates me and know there are others that need groups too.

    Karen – I will bow out on this one – but i think you’re absolutely on target by making it a group event1 I’m currently in a weight -loss group of family members that is actually great – just the accountability to the group to stay on task is quite a motivator – and I guess it’s a little like going to one’s own graduation ceremony when the time-period is over – it cements in our minds that we did something big – and there was a whole audience there to confirm it!

      I love that you are doing a weight loss group with family members. Remember to not just focus on weight loss, but to work toward establishing healthy habits so that you can maintain your weight loss. Keep going.
